“The time had come to replace our 16 year old boiler. Mike had brought to our attention that the installation of our old boiler had been done incorrectly. Our old boiler never gave us the heat we demanded, especially in cold weather. There was always a residual smell of gas, that was not leaking from the valves. I told Mike that I didn’t wish to buy an American made boiler. Mike immediately went to work, researching an excellent Canadian made alternative. “My 20 year old furnace had a problem with the mother board. My son in law recommended South Service Heating and Air Conditioning. They sent a service tech. I decided because of the age of the furnace I would get a new one. Owner Michael came the next day and gave me a quote. I contacted the office and spoke to Gwen. A very pleasant and friendly lady. “I was referred to Mike from South Service Heating through a friend and received an immediate response as out a/c unit died on one of the hottest for the summer 2024. We had initially received a review on the state of the unit and we were told to replace the unit (at outrageous costs). “I have used and recommended South Service Heating and Air Conditioning many times. I have yet to hear any complaints. Mike at South Service was the first to be called when my air conditioning unit and furnace died. They skillfully removed and replaced them quickly.
